B.A. B. Ed. IBABED 30 +2 or equivalent examination of any recognized board in India with 60% marks for General category, 55% for OBC (Non-creamy layer) and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 20 years of age as on 01-07-2013.

II. Integrated M.A. Programmes (5 years)
English Studies IMAES 40 +2 or equivalent examination in any discipline having 55% marks in aggregate.
Far East Languages (Chinese, Korean & Tibetan Languages) IMAFEL 40 each +2 or equivalent examination in any discipline having 55% marks in aggregate.
Indigenous Culture Studies IMAICS 40 +2 or equivalent examination in any discipline having 55% marks in aggregate.
International Relations IMAIR 40 +2 or equivalent examination in any discipline having 55% marks in aggregate.
Mass Communication IMSMC 40 +2 or equivalent examination in any discipline having 55% marks in aggregate.

III. Integrated M.B.A. Programmes (5 years)
Business Administration IMBA 40 +2 or equivalent examination in any discipline having 55% marks in aggregate.

IV. Integrated M. Tech. Programmes (5 years)
Water Engineering & Management IMTWEM 40 +2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry having 55% marks in aggregate.
Energy Engineering IMTEE 40 +2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry having 55% marks in aggregate.
Nanotechnology IMTNT 40 +2 or equivalent examination with PCM/PCB having 55% marks in aggregate.
Geo-informatics IMTGI 40 +2 (Science Stream) or equivalent examination with 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates must have stereoscopic and normal colour vision.

V. Integrated M.Sc. Programmes (5 years)
Applied Physics IMSAP 40 +2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry having 55% marks in aggregate.
Applied Chemistry IMSACH 40 +2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry having 55% marks in aggregate.
Applied Mathematics IMSAPM 40 +2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry having 55% marks in aggregate.
Environmental Science IMSES 40 +2 or equivalent examination with 55% marks in Science Stream
Life Sciences IMSLS 40 +2 or equivalent examination with 55% marks in aggregate having Biology as one of the subjects.

VI. Bachelor's Programmes (3 years)
Music BMUS 40 +2 or equivalent examination in any discipline having 55% marks in aggregate. The candidates should not have completed 20 years of age as on 01-07-2013.

VII. M.A. Programmes (2 years)
English Studies (Lateral Entry) MAENS Depending on availability of seats. Bachelor's degree in English Major or Honours with a Minimumof 55% Marks.
Human Rights & Conflict Management MAHRCM 20 Bachelor degree in anydiscipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
Indigenous Culture Studies (Lateral Entry) MAICS Depending on availability of seats. Graduation or equivalent having 55% marks in aggregate
Mass Communication (Lateral Entry) MAMC Depending on availability of seats. Bachelor's degree (three year regular course) in Mass Communication/ Journalism with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
Tribal & Customary Law MATCL 15 LLB degree having 55% marks in aggregate.
Tribal Folklore, Language & Literature MATFLL 20 Graduation or equivalent degree having 55% marks in aggregate.

Geo-informatics MSGI 20 i) Bachelor degree in Environmental Science / Forestry / Geography / Geophysics / Mathematics / Oceanography / Agriculture / Atmospheric Sciences / Climatology / Information Science / Computer Science / Disaster Management / Electronics /Town Planning / Botany / Zoology / allied disciplines with at least 55% marks aggregate or, ii) B.
